– Financial proof: For O-A, you need at least 800,000 THB in a Thai bank account (maintained for at least 2 months before applying) or a monthly income of at least 65,000 THB from a reliable source, such as a pension. For O-X, the requirements are higher: a bank deposit of at least 3 million THB, or a combination of 1.8 million THB in a bank deposit and an annual income of at least 1.2 million THB (approximately 100,000 THB/month).
– Health insurance: Mandatory for O-A with coverage of at least 100,000 USD (approximately 3 million THB) for outpatient treatment and 400,000 THB for inpatient treatment; O-X also encourages health insurance to ensure well-being.
– A passport valid for at least 6 months, passport photos, a completed visa application form, a retirement status confirmation letter, and visa fees (depending on the type). You must also have no criminal record and may need a medical check to prove good health.
